Hey guys,
This is going to be a quick and straightforward review about the NARS Natural Radiant Long Wear foundation.
Simply put- it is FLAWLESS. I love everything about this foundation.
Your skin, but better!
With 33 shades available, it was extremely easy for me to find my shade and undertone. When I first went to the store, some of the darker shades were sold out. Lucky, I read other reviews about the various NARS foundations and most people were the same color in all of the NARS formulas. I matched the Velvet Matte foundation stick first and ordered the new foundation online in the color Macao.
The sleek looking bottle gives slightly over 1 oz of product and retails for $49. While I admit that’s pretty pricey for me, I could not ignore the claims this product was making.
Immediately upon application, I could see many of the claims coming true: lightweight, perfect match to my skin tone and radiance.
Truly radiant finish
It was easy to see an instant change in my skin. The foundation covered all dark marks and blemishes. It even covered the dark circles under my eyes enough to almost go without concealer. The foundation did give me a well, radiant glow. Sorry, but there’s really no other word for it. I normally wouldn’t go for something like this with my oily skin; however, with some setting power and spray, my skin looks exceptionally smooth throughout the entire day.
For a full coverage foundation, it doesn’t feel thick or heavy on the face. My makeup lasts the entire day (12-16 hours) with just one oil blot a day which is perfect for my work schedule.
My skin has seen an improvement since wearing the foundation for about a month now, but I can’t say for sure it’s due to NARS. The only claim this product doesn’t live up to is non transferable. It sounds amazing but highly unrealistic for a foundation. If anyone could do it though, I would put my money on NARS!
Take a look at the difference for yourself!
Let me know your experience with this foundation or any of NARS’s other products! I definitely want to try the Velvet Matte foundation stick, but I’m open to other foundations that have worked for people with oily skin.
Sincerely,
Chaneé L.
