Shoutout: Skin Care Products

My skin has always been an issue for me. Oil, acne, heat. You name it, it caused me to breakout. Now that I’m well into my 20’s and getting my health together, I’ve found a skin care routine that works for me. So here’s a quick shoutout for the products bringing my skin back to life.

Clinique

During an aimless Sephora visit, I came across the perfect trial skin care kit. These Clinique kits came in different packages based on skin type. I picked up the one for oily skin that comes with the Liquid Facial Soap Oily Formula, Clarifying Lotion 3 and a full size Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. My favorite part is the steps are marked and make it easier to follow/develop a routine.

Mighty Marshmallow Mask

Bliss Spa products landing in my neighborhood Target was one of the happiest days I’ve had in a while. It gave me the perfect opportunity to try more of their products like the Mighty Marshmallow and In the Honey masks.

While both are moisturizing, the Mighty Marshmallow is my favorite. It gives my skin a slight tingle and leaves me looking refreshed. I get the best results when I use it at least two times a week.

Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask

The last product that really does it for me is my Origins Active Charcoal mask. I use it once a week, normally Saturday or Sunday, to really brighten my skin and remove black heads from my nose.

The trick with this product is you really need to open your pores first with warm/hot water. Once they’re open the charcoal can really work its magic and make you feel like a new person.

Using all of these products regularly throughout the week has really helped with breakouts and managing the oil. While I would love to say these products will keep my skin glowing, I know my diet also plays a role.

Drinking the right amount of water every day has changed not only my skin, but my overall health. Water works ladies and gents!

No makeup day at the beach

Sincerely,

C.L.
